He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Morton and Sara Elizabeth Duke; and his siblings, Morton "Buster" Duke and Emily Howell. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cook Duke of Macon; his children, Buddy (Misty) and Marie (Derrick); his brothers, Frank (Bonnie), Gene (Donna) and Emory (Jo); and his siblings-in-law, Zoe Duke and John Howell. He is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary Jones County Chapel (307 Pecan Ln, Gray, GA 31032). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (129 Yukon Rd, Macon, GA 31217). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flovilla City Cemetery.
