With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert J. Moon (Macon, Georgia), born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parent John; and his brother Rick Moon (Philadelphia). He is survived by: his wife Deloras Trimmer Moon; his children, Rob Moon (Abi) and Allison Duncan (Will); his sister Nancy Cramer (Walt); his sister-in-law Kay Moon; and his nieces, Amy Cramer, Susan Wezorak (John) and Sherry Bonn.

After retiring from Mercer, he continued his contributions to medical education on the Board of Directors of Trinity Medical School at St. Vincents and the Grenadines.
