He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Irma Van Bibber and Ralph V. Van Bibber; his brothers, Donald Ray Temple and James Robert Van Bibber; and his sister-in-law Louise Van Bibber.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jane Temple; his sons, Lee Allen Temple (Michelle Saba Temple) and Wayne Temple (Alyssa Arrowsmith); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Owen Temple, Jackson Meriwether and Aubrie King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Florida and cousins.
