He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemiel Barto "C. B." and Carolyn Hayes McLendon Walden; his brothers, Clark Ellison Walden and Philip Michael Walden; his sister-in-law Peggy Walden; and his nephews, Philip Michael Walden, Jr. and Gregory Scott Walden.
He is survived by: his wife Tosha Reid Walden; his children, Jessica Lanier Walden (Jamie Weatherford), Georgeanna Lanier Walden and Roger Alan Walden, Jr.; his grandson Jameson Walden Weatherford; his nieces, Amantha Starr Walden (Nick Weidenfeld) and Melissa Burgess Walden; his nephew Jason Walden; his sister-in-law Katherine Kennedy Walden; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lily Walden Givens, Rachel Walden, Philip Michael Walden III, Ellison Walden, Jarrett Walden and Max Weidenfeld; his mother-in-law Kitty Brown Reid; Tony.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snow's Memorial Chapel, Bass Road (1419 Bass Rd, Macon, GA 31210). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alan Walden Memorial Fund at Mid-South Community Bank, 1611 Bass Road, Macon 31210, https://cash.app$AWaldenMemorialFundestablished to help offset the significant medical expenses resulting from Alan's brave battle with cancer and to support Tosha, whose devoted care made it possible for Alan to remain surrounded by love through the final days of his illness.
