We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2025, at the age of 64, Romona Gail Peters Elsasser in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Franklin Peters, Jr. and Bessie Lavada Simmons Peters; her spouse Thomas Elsasser; and her sister Judy Witherington. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Evans, Jason Evans, Zachary Evans (Marissa) and Bobbie Altamirano (Antonio); her sisters, Rebecca Mathis, Lisa Cannon and Tammy Pippin; and her grandchildren, Brynn Evans, Tallulah Evans, Laila Evans, Noah Evans, Eli Altamirano, Mia Altamirano, Ariel Evans and Jason Evans.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hinson-Barnes Cemetery.
