He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Claude Akin, Jr. and Allowee Burns Akin. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Akin of Macon; his daughter Lori Brown (Jeff); and his close friends, Frankie Tripp and Lisa Evans.
