He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar Bentley and Alma Deese Bentley; his wife Betty Beam Bentley; his stepson Nathan Thompson; and his siblings, Elvin Bentley, Charles Bentley and Doris Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Bentley (Beverly) of Tallapoosa, Steven Bentley (Darlene) of Muscadine and Jerry Bentley of Macon, Georgia; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bentley (Tanya) of Waco, Jessica Adams (Caleb) of Tallapoosa and Nicole Bentley (Holly) of Temple, Georgia; and his caregivers, Carol Williams, Bessie Rozier and Vivian McClinton. He is also survived by seven greatgrandchildren.
