It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Greene Ray of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Elmer Greene and Mary Tidwell Greene Tyner; her husband William Ray of Washington; her former husband Bob Foy; and her sisters, Irma Greene, Carolyn Meadows and Martha "Bunny" Snider.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Ray Chafin, Elaine Ray-Bass (Dell) and Tony Ray (Georja); her grandchildren, Christoper Chafin (Heather), Emily Gutierrez (Raymond "Chico"), Rachael Ray Granade (Chris), Sarah Ray Kimsey (Raymond), Jordan William Ray (Sarah) and Seventeen; and her stepchildren, Bobby Foy (Pam), Nancy Foy Batson and Billy Foy (Bert). She is also survived by Seventeen great grandchildren.

In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations to Grace Primitive Baptist Church, Sardis Church Road Macon, Ga. 31216.
