He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne Hogan; his father Eddie May; and his sisters, Judy Gray Hopson, Katherine Louise Harris and E. Marie Smith.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley W. May of Macon; and his siblings, Daphyne Grimsley (John) of Alexandria, Virginia and Raymond Hogan (Durell Kidd) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; and sixteen great nieces and nephews.
