She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton C. Smith and Bernice Audrey Davis Smith; her son Michael Anthony Carter; and her granddaughter Haleigh Carter. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Wayne Carter (Georgia), Daniel Jonathon Carter (Donya) and Jeffrey Alan Carter (Kristen); her grandchildren, Matthew Carter, Holly Odom (Tyler), Peyton Carter and Meagan Wenaas (David); and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Hope Carter.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Snow's Mem (3969 Mercer University Dr, Macon, GA 31204).
