She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha C. Ellis and Lillian B. Ellis. She is survived by: her husband Duncan Matthews; her children, Amanda Ingle (David), Adam Matthews (Eva), Nicci Jordan and Roger Merritt (Allison); her grandchildren, Corbin Horne (Blake), Carley Ingle, Cohen Ingle (Mackenzie Coussons), Brae McBryde (Cam), Nic Jordan, Brooks Merritt and Eli Merritt; her great grandchildren, Briggs Horne, Tatum Horne, Beckham McBryde and Banks McBryde; and her brother Wayne Ellis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
The family asks that she be honored with donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Macon Rescue Mission.
