Shelby will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Shelby by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Shelby is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Shelby’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Martin Sr. and Maxie Pearl Martin; her husband Gene Cramer; and her grandson Clarence Rogers McKemie IV. She is survived by: her grandsons, Clay and John Robert (Shelby); her daughter Kristyleigh Cramer McKemie of Macon; her grandchildren, Kyndall Cramer McKemie of Macon and John Robert Martin McKemie of Washington, DC.; and her sister Dianne Humphries. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Shelby's name to the Camp Laney Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization providing financial assistance to boys who otherwise might not have the opportunity to attend Camp Laney.
