With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirlene Grant of Macon, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Grant; her daughters, Rashida Compton (Tay) and Nefertiri Mckenzie; her grandchildren, Javon Compton, Nadia Compton, Chloe Rivers and Marcus Rivers, Jr.; her daughters, Monique Mckenzie, Dawn Mckenzie-Morales (Johnny), Ayana Grant, Brittney Hardy and Hope Hodge (Darius); and her grandchildren, Olivia Morales and Willie Daniels. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home Eastside Chapel (2550 Shurling Dr, Macon, GA 31211). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (2005 Woodlawn Dr, Macon, GA 31211).
