She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Giles and Nell Giles; and her sister Ouida Giles Shelnutt. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Herbert Mills of Macon; her sons, Kevin (Katie) and Aaron of Macon; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ryan, Charlie and Maya of Macon; and her niece Tammy O'Hara of St. Louis, Missouri..
