With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thyra Eason Nelson of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Eason and Claire Eason. She is survived by: her daughter Ami Neder; her siblings, Eleanor Howell and Charles Eason (Harriet); her siblings' children, Jonathan Eason (Cason) and Lydia Eason; and her great-nephew Eli Eason.
