He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shelvy Oakley Neal; his children, Tammy Crutchfield (John) and Walter Gary Neal Jr. (Walt); his grandchildren, DeLaine Crutchfield Hibyan (Mark), Jessi Crutchfield, Walter Gary Neal III (WG) and Page Neal; his sister Glenda Heath; his daughter Dollie Shankle; his mother Margaret Neal; his in-laws, Joe and Mary Oakley; his siblings, Waudene Gonzales and Gawaine Neal; and his sister-in-law Carol Phelps.
