He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thomas Bishop and Alberta Miller; and his siblings, Gerald Bishop, Larry Bishop and Linda Harrell.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bishop; his children, Randy Bishop (Laurie), Rusty Bishop (Liz), Reggie Bishop (Tina), Rhonda Bishop and Rocky Bishop; and his sisters, Patsy Barr (Charlie) and Bonnie Sisk (Mike). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
