He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clifton Collins and Mary Wood Collins; his daughter Mary Katherine Collins; and his brothers, Jerry Collins, Kenneth Collins and Andy Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Shepard Collins of Macon; his children, Benjamin Harold Collins (Kimberly) of Westlake Village, California and Melissa Doris Collins Cramer (Alexander) of Richmond, Virginia; his son-in-law Thomas Ostoyich of Kingston; his grandchildren, Mason Collins, Caitlin Collins, Natalie Collins, Hayes Cramer and Miles Cramer; and his brother Larry Collins (Charlotte) of Byron, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
