He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Kennedy, Sr. and Sallie Morris; his wife Mary Boyd; and his stepson Marvin Mangrum. He is survived by: his children, William "Billy" Kennedy, Jr., Angela Purvis (Danny) and Kathy Williamson (Steve); and his daughter-in-law Glynis Mangrum. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hart's Mortuary and Cremation Center (765 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (7070 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216).
