He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Thomas Meeks and Dora Sumner Meeks; and his wife Connie Fay Chapman Meeks. He is survived by: his daughter Darlene Moore (Gerry); his grandchildren, Meg Moore and Trey Moore; his great grandchild Brantley Moore; his stepson Steve Horne (Kelly); his grandchildren, Stephen Horne, Jr. (Kodie), Kristen Humphrey (Mark) and Amanda Smart (Eddie); his great grandchildren, Joseph Horne, Caleb Horne, Cooper Humphrey and Holly Humphrey; his sister Doreatha Garrett; and his nieces, Dorian McEver (Joe) and Dena Brett (Mike).
