He is survived by: his wife Maggie Elizabeth Knight; his children, Claudia Knight, Willie Knight Jr. (Monique), Edward Eugene Knight (Ladietrich) and Cheryl Demetria Knight; and his sister Betty Parker (John). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
