Hood of Madison, Georgia, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Broadus Steedly and Ida Steedly; and her brother Hampton Steedly. She is survived by : her husband Dell Hood; and her children, Nicki Hood and Trent Hood (Shannon). She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fusion Church of Madison (2011 Athens Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
