She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoke Brown and Lounette Brown. She is survived by: her husband John Richard Wilson (Rip); her sons, John Wilson (Teddi), Brownie Wilson (Tammy) and Matt Wilson (Leigh); her grandchildren, Sallie Maddox (Davis), Maggie Lamb (Steve), Jock Wilson (Emily), Tori Atkinson (Eric), Macy Copelan (Cody) and Marlee Booty (Davin); and her great grandchildren, Emmie, Elissa, Easton Maddox, Cooper, Stevie Lamb, Kate, Luke, Logan, Claire Wilson, Ella, Rip Wilson, Braylee, Mattelyn Atkinson, Brooks, Wyatt Copelan, Hutson and Hallie Rae Booty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
