He is survived by : his wife Annie Maude; his children, Kennedy Simmons (Angela) of Conyers, Kathy Simmons Magee (Glenn) of Athens and Wanda Simmons of Madison, Georgia; his granddaughters, Kortne Simmons, Kayla Magee and Kristian Magee; and his children, Melvin Dennis, Treaunna Dennis, Xavier Dennis, Selah and Mimi.
