He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hoyt Dickson and Gwendolyn Dickson of Rutledge; his siblings, David Dickson and Dorothy Sells; his wife Cynthia Dickson; his sister Carolyn Fitzgerald; and his children, Jeff Dickson, Gail Belden, Russ Dickson, Yvonne Dixon and Greg Dickson. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. E. Carter Funeral Home (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Centennial Baptist Church (5321 Brownwood Rd, Rutledge, GA 30663). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park (3655 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606).
