He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Connelly and Louise Connelly; his wife Janice Busenitz; his sons, Josiah (Val), Jacob (Rachel), Kit (Mary Grace) and Nicolas (Emily); his grandchildren, Owen, Wallace, Ruth, Eliza, Liam, Lucia, Finn and William; and his sisters, Sherry Elenius (Peter), Joy Palmer (Peter) and Donna Hall (Greg).

The family suggests gifts in memory of John to Source of Light Ministries in lieu of flowers.
