She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Avery and Myrtle Curtis. She is survived by: her husband Rick Miller; her children, Cindy Miller Frankel (Matt), Timothy John Miller (Carrie) and Kristi Lynne Downing (Matt); her grandchildren, Austin, Maddie, Jackson, Braydon, Cade, Sara Kate, Dawson, Samuel, Haddon and Evie Jane; and her siblings, Paula (Terry) and Paul (Connie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Madison City Cemetery West Central.
In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp All American at Perimeter Church.
