Mae Buice Obituary

We announce the death of Mae Buice (Madison, Georgia), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 91. Mae will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Delozier Holloway and Kara Moon Holloway; her husband James O. Buice, Jr.; and her sister Mildred Holloway McClung. She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Buice Holmes (Jimmy) and Jill Buice Luciani (Mark); her grandchildren, Trae Holmes (Amber), Jesse Arwood (Roxana), James Arwood (Leah) and Susanne Bell (Eric); her great grandchildren, Olivia Taylor, Anna Bell, Bailey Dillard, Ariel Holmes, Dalton Arwood and Emily Bell; and her great great grandchild Lily Parrott.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
