He was predeceased by : his parents, William Cecil Thomas Sr. and Ruby Lee Anderson Thomas; and his grandson Trey. He is survived by : his wife Deborah Bonnie Thomas; his children, Stephen Thomas and Billie Joe Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Allie and Ethan. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hope Baptist Church (8 Pleasant Hill Church Rd SE, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
