He was predeceased by: his parents, William Combs and Stella Mae Combs. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mealor Combs; his sons, Wendell Combs, Jr. and Daniel Combs (Trish); his grandchildren, Heaven Leigh Meeks, Wendy Lynn Combs, Angela Talbott, Alexis Swartz and Chase Hayes; and his sister Kay Fish.
A memorial service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home (1670 Atlanta Hwy, Madison, GA 30650).
