He was predeceased by : his wife Helen Hatchett Woodson; and his sister Geneva. He is survived by : his daughter Anita Highfill; his granddaughters, Olivia and Emily; and his brothers, Robert Woodson (Carolyn) and Danny Elrod (Sandy).
