She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Hodges Jones (Walter E. Jones) and Statesboro of Georgia; her husband George A. Cook; her daughter Carol Cook Lee; her brother Walter Herbert Jones; and her sister-in-law Miranda Storey Jones.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Cook; her sister Evelyn; her brother-in-law Elmer Akin of Marietta; her niece Anna Franklin Wickman of Tallahassee Fla; her grandchildren, John Wickman of Tallahassee, Fla. and Robbie Wickman of Gainesville, Fla.; and her sibling's children, Melissa Fontaine (Frank Briscoe) of Vinings, Jana Elder (Tom) of Canton and Jeff Akin (Mary Ann) of Raleigh, N. C..
