We announce the death of Beatrice L. Jackson (Manchester, Georgia), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 78. Beatrice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul William Zittle and Pearl Louise Zittle; her husband Walter Cecil Jackson, Sr.; and her siblings, Bill Zittle, Joan Pretzsch, Don Zittle, Patricia Bushland, Robert Zittle and Pauline Zittle.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Bulloch of Manchester, Mary Ray (Jody) of Manchester, Heather Lilley (Matthew) of Manchester and Walter C. Jackson (Crystal Booth) of Manchester; and her siblings, Frank Zittle of Manchester and Iona "Noni" Barber of Poplar Grove, IL. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home- Manchester (93 Prather Barnes Rd, Manchester, GA 31816). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted, or those wishing may make memorial contributions to St. Jude's in honor of her memory.
