He was predeceased by: his parents, Flossie Halter (Scallion) and Frank Daniel Halter; his son Roddy Halter; his sister Carolyn Wright; and his granddaughter Alayna Brooke Carter.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Lynn Moore (Todd); his siblings, Patsy Langley, Frankie Stanley (Robert) and Alan Halter (Sarah); his grandchildren, Ansley Hale and Jarius Carter; his nieces, Melody Dawkins and Aubrey Dawkins; and his nephew Chase Dawkins. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
