He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Fredrick Cox and Wilma Howell Cox; and his grandparents, Matthew Henderson Cox, Mabel Thrift Cox, Lloyd Howell and Fannie Strickland Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Barber Cox of Manor; his children, Matthew Cox (Donyela) of Townsend, Andrea Rick (Chester) of Oklahoma, Bradley Earl Cox (Alexandra Salazar-Cox) of Waycross and Leanna Cox Kirkland (Lamar) of Manor; and his siblings, Earlene Westover (Tony), Janice Westover, Jeanette Bagley (L. C.), Lorene Bechiom (Jimmy), Candace Williams (David) and Earl Cox (Sabrina). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
