He was predeceased by: his mother June Sorrick. He is survived by: his father David Sorrick; his in-laws, Arne, Teddie Nurmi and Jeanne Sorrick; his children, Katie Turner (Mark) and Daniel Sorrick (Melissa); his grandchildren, Rebekah, Abigail Turner and Elliott Sorrick; his brother Kenneth Sorrick (Rachelle); his cousin Debbie Spurling; his brother-in-law Len Nurmi; his nieces and nephews, Chezka, Catherine, Chris, Lori, Jennifer, Jason and Todd; his wife Laura Bryan Sorrick; his son Stephen Redmond (Brittany); and his grandchildren, Peyton, Zoey, Piper and Zadie Redmond. He is also survived by friends who are part of his family.
In lieu of flowers he requested that donations be made to Disciples for Christ Food Ministry; Checks may be payable to Newborn Methodist Church and on the memo line write DFCFM.
