She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Blackwell and Edith Blackwell; her son David Fowler; and her siblings, J. H. Blackwell, Ronald Blackwell, Wayne Blackwell, Frances Smith and Doris Kent.
She is survived by: her husband Eddy Jones of Marble Hill; her son Jody; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Bell of Warm Springs; her daughters, Tracy Hernendez of Hill City and Holly; her son-in-law Frank Lathery of Ellijay; her daughters, Hope Hooks of Marble Hill and Barbie Silvers; and her siblings, Kevin Blackwell of Ellijay, Tammy Blackwell of Ellijay, Dawn Blackwell of Ellijay and Trudy Totherow of Marble Hill. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Roper Funeral Home and Crematory (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel (206 Holly St, Jasper, GA 30143).
