He was predeceased by: his son Robert Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hardy; and his children, Beal Hardy (Rhonda), Pam Bennett (Jeffrey) and Albert Hardy (Sara). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (Veterans Cemetery Rd, Georgia 30114).
