He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Blackmon and Clara Blackmon; his son Samuel Blackman; and his siblings, Marion, Johnny, Dorothy and Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Jeroline "Jaye" Blackman; his children, Monica Murray, Christian Jones and Denzel Blackman; his brothers, Benny Blackman (Joanne) and Henry Blackman (Minnie); Fran McTier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (4192 Brownsville Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127). A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
