We announce the death of Ann Durrance Snead of Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 82. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ann will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ann will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ann’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Durrance and Florence Durrance. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Rodney Snead; her daughters, Ginny Lummus (Scott) and Carol Crosslin (Kevin); her grandchildren, Morgan DeCross and Ben Crosslin; her great grandchildren, Vincent and Zander DeCross; and her sister Carol Durrance Dunbar (Ellis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Catherine's Episcopal Church (571 Holt Rd NE, Marietta, GA 30068).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Ann's name to St. Catherine's Episcopal Church or Good Mews animal foundation.
