She was predeceased by: her parents, James Day and Dolly Grimes Day; her brother Alton Day; and her husband Herbert Duckworth. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Duckworth and Karen Gresham (Mark); her grandchildren, Savannah Staton (Michael), Holliann Gresham and Gracie Gresham; and her great grandchildren, Brady Staton and Hartlee Jo Staton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Barbara was a dedicated member of her community and is remembered for her invaluable contributions to the Cobb County School Systems, where she worked for 36 years as a Bus Driver.
