He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Cooksey Jr. (Nikki) and Michael "Len" Cooksey (Misty); his spouse Regenia Reece; his stepdaughters, Sandi and Dawn; and his siblings, Charles Cooksey and Joyce Raper. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
