It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Irving Addison Jr. of Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Irving Addison and Margaret Carter Addison of Longview, Texas.. He is survived by: his former wife Jane Addison; his brothers, William Addison (Melodie) and Randolph Addison (Nancy); his sons, Sean Addison (Shannon) and Ryan Addison (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Carter, Benjamin, Grady, Emily, Andrew and Hazel.
The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Carl's name to the Pope High School Baseball Boosters or The Cobb Veterans Memorial Foundation.
