She was predeceased by: her husband Carlton "Corky" Kell; her brother L. Clinton Ballew; and her parents, David "Pistol" Ballew and Bertha Withrow Ballew. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Kell Stinson (Michael) and Carlton LaTain Kell (Sheri); her grandchildren, William Kell Stinson (Megan), Carly Elizabeth Stinson and Carlton LaTain Kell, Jr. (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Michael Alexander Stinson and Miley Jean Stinson; her brother R. David Ballew (Janet); her nieces, Tammy Ballew Bowling, Robin Ballew and Bonnie Kell; and her great-nephews, Robbie Ballew and Evan Bowling.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church (955 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta, GA 30068). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 4:30 PM at 5664 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
In lieu of flowers, Carole requested donations be made to the Wellstar Foundation.
