He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edmundson and Mattie Jo Edmundson; and his sister Darlene Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Dayle "Dede" Marks Edmundson; his children, Rachel Nelson (Zach) of Smyrna, Georgia, Hunter Edmundson (Allie) of Dunwoody and Sam Edmundson of Marietta, Georgia; his grandsons, Cole Nelson and Charlie Edmundson; and his siblings, Barbara Edmundson (Alan), Betsy Harmon (Chuck), Charla Youngblood and Kenny Edmundson (Jana). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel (1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Eastside Church (2450 Lower Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30068).
