He is survived by: his daughter Terri Ready; his son-in-law Kent Ready; his grandson Blake Ready; his great grandchild Summer Ready; and his siblings, Pickelsimer and Joan Hardy.

The family asks that in Lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Marietta, GA.
