He was predeceased by: his significant other Lucy Childers; his parents, Gwendolyn Louise Carr-Davis and Collis Morris Burdett; his stepfather James Davis; and his brothers, Angelo Freeman and Walter Love.

He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy, Jeffrey and Patricia; his children, Robin (Kimani), Collis, Nicole, Russell, Daniel and Camille; and his stepchildren, Tai (Frank), Nicole (FJ), Camille (Paul) and Rashaad. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
