He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nieland and Aurelia Nieland. He is survived by: his wife Joan Nieland; his daughter Meghan Nieland; his stepdaughter Amber Simmons (Robert); his sisters, Linda Banks and Sharon Nieland; and his grandchildren, R. J., Eli, Yva and Micha Simmons.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home (2950 Cobb Pkwy N, Kennesaw, GA 30152). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
