Henson of Marietta, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Helen Henson; his mother Myrtice M. Henson; and his sisters, Bettie Beacham and Patricia Reece. He is survived by : his children, Brad Henson (Angie) and Cathy Reed (Steve); his grandchildren, Josh Henson, Matthew Henson, Austin Reed, Kenny Reed and Katie Reed; and his father Burl George Henson.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Marietta Chapel (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his honor to Eastwood Baptist Church, 1150 Allgood Road, Marietta, GA 30062.
