She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhodes Ellsworth Blue and Wyolene Ellis Blue; her husband James Patrick "Pat" Haggerty; and her brothers, Leslie L. Blue and Wayne E. Blue.
She is survived by: her friends, Julie Ewing Hunt, Cindy Griggs and Chris Goodwin; her children, James Patrick Haggerty III (Jim) of Marietta, Georgia and Mary Elizabeth Haggerty (Beth) of Marietta, Georgia; her brother Allen Blue (Sandra) of Ashburn, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Scott Blue, John Blue, Sherri Simmons (Jerry), Dee Cunningham (Edd) and Jaclyn Myers (Mathew); and her daughter Mary Broadrick Moffitt. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ron Clark Academy, a nonprofit public charity dedicated to transforming education for children.
